Frag eXecutors star neo is without his baggage after a mix-up at Helsinki airport meant it did not arrive in Seoul. He will play the event with different equipment.
Polish superstar player Filip 'Neo' Kubski of Frag eXecutors is without his bag for e-Stars Seoul as it currently stands and will be forced to use different equipment than his usual choice of mouse, mousepad, headphones and keyboard.
According to the Frag eXecutors site neo landed in Seoul and was informed that his bag had not arrived, apparently due to a mistake at Helsinki airport. This left the Pole without his "personal items, clothes and gaming gear".
Some airports are good for sending out missing baggage a day or two later and having it couriered to the event, there is no word on how that would play out in this situation though. This may not seem like a major issue but it certainly is. Professional Counter-Strike is a precision sport which requires the players' equipment to be a part of him, something which is built up via the routine of thousands of hours of practice with it.
Just as in tennis a player needs his specific racquet and will practice for hours and hours until it feels like an extension of his arm so it is with Counter-Strike and other games based around marksmanship. In sports like darts and snooker using different equipment has been known to have drastic effects upon the players' performances and nearly all of them will stick with the exact same brand and model for many years as a result.
As one of the best in the world neo will be expected to adapt and likely will still perform at a high level but it is not a good sign for Frag eXecutors to have their star player in an uncomfortable situation.

The West won the Continental Cup at e-Stars thanks to a perfect record from fnatic and Xlord's defeat of two WeMade FOX Korean WarCraft III stars.
fnatic were the driving force which saw the West win the e-Stars Continental Cup, with the Swedes managing a perfect performance in the Deathmatch section of play. The West had been down early due to a clean sweep by the East in WarCraft III Threesome and a map loss by Frag eXecutors to WeMade FOX , leaving the score 4:2 for the East. In Deathmatch WarCraft III came first and the West managed to score a 3:1 victory thanks to Daniel 'Xlord' Spenst taking out Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and June 'Lyn' Park back-to-back. That made the overall score 5:5 and put the West back in the driving seat as they expectedly sent out fnatic as their first representatives.
As it ended up no other team was needed as fnatic swept WeMade FOX, TitaNs and TyLoo to secure victory for the West. Last year the cup had gone to the East and fnatic mentioned in their press confernece that it was nice to bring it back to the West.
